Please note, that we have not (yet) established a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Any donations received are not (currently) tax-deductible. Any donation you make is a Gift Donation from you, and every single bit helps. Keep your receipt! and when our non-profit organization is set-up, you may claim the tax-deductible portion on your 2003 income tax.
Donations received will be used to payoff prior debt associated with Michael's medical expenses. Donations exceeding that amount will be "Paid Forward".
We believe in and will participate in the "Pay-It-Forward" movement (like from the movie of the same name which featured Haley Joel Osment). We will begin by making a "restricted donation" to St. Clare Hospital (Lakewood, Washington State). We will ask that St. Clare Hospital use this money for the express purpose of purchasing "Radio Frequency Ablation" equipment. This was the very specialized equipment that was used by Dr. Glenn Deyo in Michael's life-prolonging surgeries (April, June, and August 2003). We know that having this equipment available at St. Clare will provide a better chance for survival to those in life-threatening situations similar to Michael's (specifically, breast, colon, liver, lung cancers).
