Debt Reduction and Fundraisers associated "Keep Blair Alive"

We wish to offer a special "Thank You" to each and every member of the Pacific Northwest Four Wheel Drive Association (PNW4WDA) for their incredible generosity and support of Keep Blair Alive! Since this fundraising project began on August 1, 2003, an overall total of nearly $40,000 has been raised. Of that, nearly $22,000 in donations was raised by PNW4WDA members (through donations during Summer Convention (Aug 2003), Operation Shore Patrol, (Sep 2003) Spaghetti Dinner/Auction Event (Sep 2003), Evans Creek Fun Run (Oct 2003)!!
One member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Jeep club told me, ". . . once a jeeper, always a jeeper . . .", and the level of support we have received from PNW members certainly demonstrates that. Thank you.

All proceeds from the various fundraising efforts are deposited into the "Donation Account for Michael Blair" held at Keybank. Proceeds from fundraising efforts will be used for ongoing care and to pay off medical expenses incurred to Keep Blair Alive.
As if all of the fundraising efforts was not phenomenal enough, we received a letter from St Clare Hospital on September 30, 2003 that indicated that St Clare Hospital has agreed to reduce Michael Blair's hospital expenses by 25%!!! We wish to thank St Clare Hospital for this incredibly generous show of support for our case.

We are still in the process of securing Non-profit 501(c)3 status. In consultation with various people, I have learned that we have a period not to exceed 15 months from the first month in which income exceeded $4,000 (April 2005) to establish a non-profit (including a Board of Directors, etc. etc.) Stay tuned for progress....
