Thank you Sammy for introducing us to Artemisinin. Michael is alive and we are indebted
forever.
Michael has had three Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA)
surgeries in 2003 (April 9 tumors—one the size of an Idaho potato, June 5
tumors, August 5 tumors) to remove a total of nineteen cancerous tumors from
his liver. He was "tumor
free" during his last three CT Scans (October & December 2003, February 2004). We credit this to the use of
Artemisinin. Michael started on
Artemisinin after his first RFA surgery in April 2003. In the beginning, he took a lower dosage,
and was prescribed (by his medical doctor) to take 1,800 mg of iron each
day. I did a ton of Internet research,
showed it to the medical doctor and took Michael off of the iron (it was just
providing a feeding frenzy environment for the cancer tumors). Michael and I upped his dosage of
Artemisinin (to the level described below), took him off the iron and Michael
was "tumor free" on October 16, 2003, December 10, 2003, February 5, 2004.
We get several e-mails each week, from all of the world
asking us about the dosing, etc. associated with Michael's use of
Artemisinin. We have decided to publish
Michael's Artemisin dosing information here, for all of you.
After reading every one of the studies cited on this website
(and hundreds that I did not cite here!!!) at: Artemisinin; and trying various dosing
schedules/combinations out on Michael, we make the following personal
observations (remember the Disclaimer you read) about using
Artemisinin/Artesunate/Artemether and associated dosing schedule:
- Order
Artemisinin through a company that has proven that its Artemesinin product
is 100% effective. This testing
should have been performed by a company not associated with the company
that is selling the Artemisinin.
In other words, if the company testing the potency is owned by the
company selling it, does it really test 100% potent? If you have decided to use Artemisinin,
it should be 100% pure/potent or you may not get 100% results.
We recommend purchasing Artemisinin from Wellcare Pharmaceutical as cited by
Artemisinin pioneer researchers Drs. Singh and Lai. When you phone Wellcare Pharmaceutical, tell Kandi that you read
about this on the "keepblairalive" website. No, we do not get anything out of making this recommendation to
you, no we do not hold stock, or anything else in Wellcare Pharmaceutical. They have helped "Keep Blair
Alive", so we support them by recommending them to you.
Artemisinin: Sold by
Wellcare as "Hepalin 100" (Artemisinin 100 mg) 60 capsules
Artemix: Sold by Wellcare as "Artemix"
(Artemisinin complex) 30 capsules. Each
capsule includes: Artesunate (50 mg) Artemether (40 mg) Artemisinin (50 mg).
- At
this writing, Michael weighs approximately 180 pounds. At this weight, he is following this
dosing schedule:
2 hours before or 3 hours after breakfast (in other words on
an empty stomach)
2 hours before or
3 hours after any vitamin C (the C makes Artemisinin less effective, so avoid C
during dosing time)
2 hours before or
3 hours after any "Anti-Oxidant" formuations (they make Artemisinin
less effective, so avoid them during dosing time)
2 hours before or
3 hours after any iron (Michael does not take any iron supplements, and eats
limited iron while he is "on" Artemisinin. Taking iron while "on" Artemisinin makes it less
effective, so avoid iron during dosing time)
Artemisinin – two 100 mg capsules
Artemix – two capsules (Artesunate (50 mg) Artemether (40
mg) Artemisinin (50 mg).).
Michael swallows
his Artemisinin/Artemix and then eats a small container of yogurt (best if it
is plain—avoid those with anti-oxidizing things like strawberries, blueberries,
etc., for the same reason as avoiding Vitamin C and Anti-Oxidant formulations,
above)
1 tablespoon of
flax seed oil is added to the yogurt (for its Omega 3. Be sure it is "Barlean's". cheaper imitations are not as effective!)
This dosing schedule is repeated for a second time at the
end of the day, so:
2 hours before or 3 hours after last meal (in other words on
an empty stomach)
Michael is therefore getting:
600 mg of Artemisinin
200 mg of Artesunate
160 mg of Artemether
every day that he is "on" Artemisinin.
Studies (including those cited here) have shown that
Artemisinin/Artemix is not taken up by the body at the same rate after a few
days "on", so "time off" is required.
Michael is "on" Artemisinin for seven days
(probably a few days longer than it really works) then takes "time
off" for seven days (probably a few days longer "time off" than
is required). He keeps this schedule
because it is to follow: One week
"on" and one week "time off".
Again, this is based on personal observation only, we were
on our own to figure all of this out.
Thanks for visiting our website. We hope this helps you in your wellness program.
